Art in the Park: In collaboration with UCI art graduate student Lauryn Moles, I created a walk-through art installation of a shark digestive system. Community members who visited the exhibit were given an ipad containing a video that would guide them through the digestive processes occurring in each stage of the digestive system that they walked through. Pedagogical Fellow (2018): A year-long commitment culminating in an Excellence in Teaching Certification. Consists of three courses through the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation focusing on both general and discipline-specific pedagogical theory, observing and implementing evidence-based teaching practices, and developing and leading the UCI Teaching Assistant Training Program.
